2nd Annual Smithsonian Young Benefactors Cup

Save the Date! The next Smithsonian Young Benefactor's Cup will be held sometime in 2008.

New date: Sun., Sept. 7, 2008

Due to adverse weather conditions caused by Hurricane Hanna, the 2nd Annual Smithsonian Young Benefactors Polo Cup has been moved to Sunday, September 7.

The event will start at 12 noon at the same location. The After-Party at the Mandarin Oriental has also been moved to Sunday and will start at approximately 5 p.m.

Ticket Sales

Web sales have closed.

Web and phone ticket sales will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 5th. Tickets will be available on Sunday, September 7 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the S. Dillon Ripley Center, 1100 Jefferson Drive, SW in Suite 3077.

Smithsonian Young Benefactors Refund Policy

Refunds for Young Benefactors programs may be requested up to three working days prior to the program.  No refund will be provided for requests received within three working days of the program.  If requests are received prior to three working days before the program, they will be made less a $10 processing fee per ticket.  For questions or to request a refund, please contact a Customer Service Representative at 202-633-3030.  Please note membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

IDs will be checked at the gate. You must have an ID to drink. Public parking will be available in West Potomac Park lots A, B, and C.

Complimentary shuttle to and from the Smithsonian Ripley Center, 1100 Jefferson Drive, S.W. (Smithsonian Metro) from 11:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. with service to the Mandarin Oriental starting at 4:30 p.m. for the After-Party.
